Amazon k Savings Plan Fund Rotation Strategy

Come chat with us on IRC! Amazon employee AMZN stock k match and Vanguard investment mix? I work for Amazon which matches k contributions in AMZN stock. Based on my age 30 years old I'm in the "Target Retirement Trust I" plan with Vanguard. I'm not sure if the stock match is inflating the stock allocation and if i should aim to reallocate to get more towards that mix.

If you're looking something to watch, I like the Boglehead philosophy videos as a good introduction to investing. I would recommend selling your employer stock and buying something else according to your plan as soon as your plan allows it.

Your personal risk is already very concentrated in Amazon so there's no reason to compound it with company stock. Thanks I've been lurking pf for a while and I have seen a lot of advice regarding concentrated risk with employee stock which prompted me to post.

I also have some RSUs so it does feel like having a lot of eggs in the one basket. A lot of my shares wont vest until later this year and based on what Ive read in this subreddit i was planning on selling.

Look at the other funds they have and split between some of the other ones. I personally like the Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund Institutional Shares VTSNX and Vanguard Institutional Index Fund Institutional Shares VINIX funds, but I like casting a large net when it come to my k investments.
