Now that you have some courage, you may like to post elsewhere on the site, specifically the introductions section, I guarantee you will feel more than welcomed. Anyhow, down to your query.

Brand owners will not give you the time or day if you approach them asking for their ex-chainstore clothing. Adam Sinclair and Q Clothing are other suppliers you may want to look at.

Jul 28, Messages: Anthony , thanks a lot for a welcome. Perhaps you are correct, it is quite specific, but so is this forum, isn't it? The courage I was talking about, was to post, this specific question. I am a wholesaler of used clothing on a very large scale, our warehouse goes through average tonnes of used clothing weekly, with very competitive prices, so bying from the mentioned above suppliers will give very small profit margins, if any at all, if I were to keep to competitive prices.

So they are not the source for me.. I knew from the beginning that my post will not have much success, but decided to give it a try Thanks anyway.

Used or second hand clothing is usually sourced from the various charities groups.

The ex-catalogue wholesalers will be buying direct from the retailers or authorized distributors for "end of the season clearance stock ". Some of the large wholesalers may have exclusive distribution agreements with retail stores or distributors.

You would need to contact the retailers corporate sales office to find out information on buying their ex-catalogue or clearance stock. There's no simple answer to your question.

A lot of charities will sell bulk clothing to commercial dealers. A factory would need to remove the labeling from the clothing, otherwise it would be classed as counterfeit by the brand owner.

The manufacturers don't have distribution rights to sell the brands. In North America all of the big box stores have exclusive distribution agreements for their store returns.
